Janesville’s new electronics sniffing dog Maui helps Janesville police land another arrest. This time, It’s a man suspected of possessing child porn.

Police hauled in 39-year-old Janesville resident Brett Cochran on five counts of child pornography after a sting on his house early this morning.Gay porno

Cochran is now in jail pending a court hearing.

Authorities say police dog handler detective Jeff Winiarski and his pooch partner Maui helped collect numerous electronic storage devices during a warrant search at Cochran’s home in the 200 block of Rockport Road.

Janesville police say Maui helped collect evidence in another big arrest this week. That was in a stalking and domestic violence case that a local judge says is one of the most chilling cases he’s ever seen.
