This Volac Lamb Volostrum comes in a pouch of 500g and serves as a natural alternative to colostrum for feeding whenever ewe colostrum is unavailable or in short supply. Lamb Volostrum’s guarenteed high level of proteins and oil supply a readily available source of nutrients and energy to help the lamb fight off potentially fatal disease challenges and guard against hypothermia. It should be fed as soon as possible after birth, preferably within 6 hours. For small lambs you should administer half the feed as soon as possible and the remainder within the first 6 hours of life. Containing 10 doses as a natural alternative or 20 doses as a natural supplement. When using the Volostrum as a supplement mix at the rate of 25g (1 level scoop) of powder with 50ml of warm water at 40ºC. When using as a natural alternative to Colostrum mix at the rate of 50g (2 level scoops) of Lamb Volostrum powder with 100ml of warm water at 40ºC. Due to the high protein content Lamb Volostrum, you will need to whisk thoroughly for a minimum of 30 seconds to ensure an even mix.

The 500g pouch is sufficient for 20 lambs.
