Dectomax injection is a ready-to-use, colourless to pale yellow, sterile solution aimed to treat and control parasites such as roundworms, lungworms, eye worms, warbles, mange mites and lice, nasal bots, for cattle and sheep.
It contains 1{860c84ecb00a3653ebfba9e40da539730da09e162f37662232a84ed9bbe75d38}w/v doramectin (10mg/ml).
Use On:
Cattle. Not for use in lactating cows producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in dry dairy cows including pregnant dairy heifers within 60 days prior to calving.
Sheep. Not for use in dairy ewes producing milk for human consumption.
Standard Dosage: Dectomax should be injected subcutaneously in neck region (for cattle) or intramuscular (for sheep) using the aseptic technique (in sterile conditions).
When treating individual animals, use a dry sterile 16 to 18 gauge needle, 15mm (for cattle) or a 25mm (for sheep) in length.
Cattle: 1ml per kg bodyweight.
Sheep and lambs less than 16 kg: 1ml per 33 kg bodyweight
